YEREVAN. – My mission is to develop the bilateral relations between Armenia and Great Britain, UK Ambassador to Armenia, Jonathan James Aves, said during official opening of the 11th British Film Festival that was held Saturday in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.  

As per the ambassador, this film festival will contribute to further deepening of bilateral interaction between the two countries.

“I hope their work with the representatives of British cinematography will enable Armenian cinematographers to realize their potential and to achieve the best results. I believe the films will become one of the effective ways to consolidate mutual understanding between the two countries,” the British diplomat stated.
