YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Premier Tigran Sargsyan received President and General Manager Shaikh Muhammad Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The PM underscored the need to expand relations between Armenia and Kuwait, the Armenian Government press service informs. Sargsyan noted that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s last visit to Kuwait and last year’s sessions of the bilateral intergovernmental commission have given a new impetus to Armenian-Kuwaiti relations.    

“We are delighted that ties between the national [news] agencies of our two countries likewise are strengthening; we are very much interested in this,” Sargsyan noted.   

The Premier also expressed a conviction that news agencies can significantly help expand bilateral ties.

In his turn, Shaikh Muhammad Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah expressed confidence that Armenian-Kuwaiti relations will move forward. 

In addition, the KUNA chief conveyed to Tigran Sargsyan the warm greetings by the Kuwaiti PM.
