YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan received a European Parliament delegation led by Martin Callanan, the Chairman of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR) political group at the European Parliament.

The PAP leader noted that European integration is an important priority for the party and the latter aims to further deepen its European agenda, PAP press service informs. Tsarukyan also underscored their collaboration with AECR.   

In his turn, Callanan noted that he gives emphasis to cooperation with one of Armenia’s influential political forces, the PAP, and they look toward further deepening their partnership relations with this party.   

Gagik Tsarukyan noted that Armenia’s political association and economic integration with the European Union will contribute to the establishment of democratic values in the country and the building of more open and competitive economic relations.      

The interlocutors also discussed the Armenian capital city Yerevan Council election, which will be conducted on Sunday, and regional matters. 

In addition, an agreement was reached toward deepening collaboration between the Prosperous Armenia Party and the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists.
