In keeping with tradition, the Republic of Armenia Day was marked on Wednesday at the 39th International Book Fair, which is held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.    

Along with over forty other countries, Armenia is also represented at this fair, and with its own pavilion.

More than 1,200 visitors attended the main event of the day. Armenia’s Ambassador to Argentina, Vahagn Melikyan, and the Culture Minister of the city of Buenos Aires, Hernán Lombardi, welcomed the audience with opening remarks.

In addition, Argentinean-Armenian singers and dance groups gave performances during the Republic of Armenia Day celebrations.
