YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party Chairman, ex-presidential candidate, former FM Raffi Hovannisian on Friday met with United States Ambassador John Heffern.

They conferred on a broad array of issues of mutual interest with respect to contemporary foreign and domestic policy challenges in Armenia and the region, Hovannisian’s headquarters informs.

Of particular importance, were the capital city Yerevan Council elections scheduled for Sunday, together with the imperative of their conduct in line with legal and democratic international standards.
