Barack Obama said he does not consider sending troops to Syria.

Speaking at a news press conference in Costa Rica, Obama said in general he does not rule out things as commander in chief, Washington Post reported.

However, Obama noted he has no plans to send troops to Syria, saying he did not foresee such a scenario.

Commenting on the U.S. further steps, Obama said he would make decisions “based on the best evidence and after careful consultation.”
