YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister, Edward Nalbandian, on Friday met with Ambassador Philippe Lefort, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia.
The interlocutors discussed matters with respect to ensuring regional security, the MFA press service informs.
Nalbandian briefed the EU special representative on the efforts by Armenia and the international community toward a pacific settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In his turn, Ambassador Lefort reaffirmed EU’s support to the respective steps which the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are taking.
