YEREVAN. – The state environmental inspectorate of t he Armenia’s Ministry of Nature Protection conducted a raid along the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway and surrounding areas.
Nine trucks of different capacity were brought to a special parking lot where protocols on illegal tree cutting were drawn up. Employees of the inspectorate are counting the damage, the report says.
Illegal tree cutting has become a usual thing in Tavush and Lori regions.
