YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Seismic Protection Service provided earthquake information on Sunday at 9:55pm. 

In line with this information, a 2.5-magnitude quake struck the Georgia-Armenia border area, 18 kilometers southeast of Ninotsminda, Georgia, at 9:10pm local time.

The tremor measured magnitude 3 at the epicenter area, and its hypocenter was 10 kilometers beneath the surface. 

The earthquake, however, was not felt in Armenia.
