YEREVAN. – The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), which considers itself an alternative, leaves the MP seats half-empty and is silent at a time when there is heated National Assembly (NA) criticism of the activities of the Government, Iravunk daily reports.

“First, Iravunk tried to clarify from PAP NA Faction Secretary Naira Zohrabyan as to the reason for such passiveness [by the PAP] in recent periods and whether this yet another boycott by the PAP. [But] she received an important call and ‘had to’ leave our question unanswered.

The same question also awaited PAP NA Faction MP Mikayel Melkumyan, who [, however,] did not wish to speak at all.

And boredom at the NA Sessions’ Hall had enveloped PAP NA Faction MPs Vahe Hovhannisyan and Martun Grigoryan, who were ‘engulfed’ in [their] mobile phones,” Iravunk writes.
