YEREVAN. – The National Academy of Sciences of Armenia became a member in the All European Academies (ALLEA).  

To note, ALLEA is an international supraorganization of academic societies. It was founded in 1994 and is a federation of 53 national academies in the sciences and humanities in 40 European countries. ALLEA member organizations are self-governing associations of scientists and scholars such as learned societies, think tanks, foundations, and research institutes.

ALLEA membership will enable new opportunities for Armenian scientists and scholars to be engaged in scientific and scholarly exchange and long-term international projects, the Academy Information and Analysis Center informs.
