YEREVAN. – Rescue Service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call on Tuesday at 22.33pm.
According to this call, three shepherds, along with 45 cattle, had left Buzhakan village of Kotayk Region, on Monday morning, and headed toward Hankavan village. But no communication was established with them since Tuesday afternoon. Consequently, rescuers were needed.
Fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene to conduct a search, the Rescue Service informs.
Subsequently, information was received, on Wednesday at 7:37am, notifying that the lost shepherds (H., A., and H. Habetnakyan) were found at 7:35am at the mountains between Aghveran and Yernjatap villages. Due to a lack of familiarity with the terrain, the shepherds had decided to spend the night in this area.
