YEREVAN. – Armenia has exported around 3,000 tons of apricot this year, project manager of Spayka company Karen Baghdasaryan told reporters.
According to exporting company’s forecasts, 2013 is a prolific year for apricots despite heavy hailstorms. He noted that 13,000 tons of apricots were exported from Armenia last year.
The company is going to import apricot and cherry seedlings to distribute among the farmers.
