YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan on Friday received the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) delegation led by AMAA Executive Director Levon Filian.
AMAA representatives presented to Sargsyan their organization’s ongoing projects in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and in more than two dozen countries, and their upcoming initiatives.
They noted that AMAA implements projects in a variety of domains, but it places a particular emphasis on education.
The representatives of the 95-year-old organization also assured that AMAA is passing from charitable programs to development programs, and it collaborates with other organizations with a similar mission.
The President wished success to the Armenian Missionary Association of America in the implementation of its programs.
