YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan received on Monday head of the IMF mission Mark Horton.

Head of the Mission noted that response of the government and the Central Bank of Armenia to the situation in agriculture after a spring hailstorm was fast and targeted. He stressed that level of deficit continues to maintain in the previous level, which will contribute to the stability of the economy.

The two sides praised ending of a three-year EFF/ECF funding program (Extended Fund Facility / Extended Credit Facility) carried out by the IMF in Armenia, and discussed issues related to the proposed new program.
