YEREVAN. – A call was received, on Friday at 7:50am, informing that there was fire on the roof of Spayka Company in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.
Two fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene, Rescue Service informs.
It was found out that the fire had broken out on the first floor of the company.
The fire was extinguished at 8:19am.
But the fire destroyed about 12 cubic meters of polyethylene films that were used for packaging glass containers.
To note, it had taken the Yerevan fire department 14.5 hours to put out a large fire that had started at Spayka Company on May 15 at midnight.
