Spanish Ambassador to Turkey Joan Clos i Matheu commented on the recognition of Armenian Genocide by the Catalonian Parliament in the course of his meeting with Kayseri governor in Ankara.
According to CNNTurk, Spanish Ambassador stated that Catalonia is one of 17 autonomous communities and its decision does not reflect Spain’s official stance on the matter.
