Ambassador James Warlick is of our most talented and experienced diplomats, former OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Ian Kelly said commenting on the appointment of new Ambassador.

“I have known Ambassador Warlick for a long time. He is one of our most talented and experienced diplomats. As Secretary Kerry said, we are confident he will do a tremendous job in this critical post. His appointment is another indication of the high priority the U.S. places on resolving this conflict,” reads the statement posted on the official US Embassy Facebook page.

”I have been honored to serve as the Minsk Group Co-Chair on an interim basis, and will continue to do so until Ambassador Warlick assumes his new position in September.”
