YEREVAN. – Armenian Deputy Prime Minister and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan on Wednesday received Ivan Drabek, head of the World Bank (WB) Social Investment Fund Project for Armenia. 

They discussed the strategy for the development of the Armenian Social Investment Fund (ASIF) and its projects, informs the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Territorial Administration.   

It was informed that the ASIF development strategy has received a positive evaluation from the WB team. 

The deputy PM underscored the examination of the respective document and the final specification of the outlooks, before it is submitted to the Government of Armenia. 

Gevorgyan and Drabek also discussed the funds that are allocated to ASIF, and within the framework of the new country assistance strategy, and the chances for expanding the projects of the Armenian Social Investment Fund.
