YEREVAN. – A divorced woman in Armenia has little chance to get married, director of dating agency said.

A divorced man, even if he has children, is in a more advantageous position, Ilona Bagishyan said during the Wednesday media conference.

“Divorced men with several children, often come to the agency in search of an unmarried woman,” she said.

It is very difficult for a woman with children to get married in Armenia. There are some exceptions, of course.

“For example, we had a case when a man who has lost his wife and was left with three children, married a woman with a child. And now they are raising four children together,” he concluded.
