YEREVAN. – Chief of Police, Vladimir Gasparyan, on Wednesday received Erikas Petrikas, Lithuania’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia.
Gasparyan noted that the interaction between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries need to be deepened and broadened further.
In turn Ambassador Petrikas noted that the interaction is long-established between the peoples of Lithuania and Armenia, and this interaction serves as a guarantee for expanding cooperation.
The Police Chief spoke about the ongoing reforms within Armenia’s Police, underscored the assistance—by the law enforcement of other countries—toward upgrading Armenia’s police system, and stressed the need for exchange of knowhow, mutual visits, and recognizing and using one another’s accomplishments.
The parties also discussed other matters of common interest.
