YEREVAN. – First Deputy Minister of Defence of Armenia Davit Tonoyan on Thursday held a regular meeting with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegate in Armenia Dragana Rankovich.

Rankovich said that according to the information from the ICRC office in Baku “they are confident that they will soon get the date of the visit with Hakob Injighulyan”.

On his part Tonoyan told the ICRC delegate that Firuz Faragev, the Azerbaijani serviceman who is kept in Armenia has changed his intention and expressed a wish to return back to Azerbaijan. He also requested meetings with representatives of international humanitarian organizations in Armenia.

The Ministry of Defense urges impartial humanitarian organizations, the ICRC in particular, to meet with Farajev. The ICRC took note of the information.
