YEREVAN. – Switzerland’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Lukas Gasser, on Friday presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

In Sargsyan’s words, Armenia underscores the continuation of the collaboration with Switzerland and stands ready to take steps toward further deepening this cooperation. 

The interlocutors spoke about the high level of inter-state relations, between Armenia and Switzerland, which are developing in recent years. 

President Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Lukas Gasser also exchanged views on regional matters.
