YEREVAN. – Minister of Urban Development Samvel Tadevosyan on Friday visited construction sites of schools to inspect repair works ahead of the start of new school year.

This year, the office implementing the programs on urban development will put into operation six educational facilities.

Considering the fact that September 1—the day when new school year always starts in Armenia—falls on a Sunday this year, the 2013/14 school year will get underway on Monday, September 2, in all education institutions of the country.
