Estonian government approved on Thursday agreements on educational cooperation with Armenia and Russia.

Joint work with Eastern partners is important from the viewpoint of EU and Estonia’s policy. The Ministry of Education concluded cooperation agreements with all eastern partners, except for Armenia and Belarus.

The agreement reached with Armenia will expand cooperation in Eastern partnership states and facilitates education, science and youth cooperation with Armenia.

The agreement supports the plan of the education and science ministry to pay more attention to Eastern partnership states in compiling grant programmes targeted at foreign states target groups, The Baltic Course reported referring to LETA.
