UK Ambassador to Turkey David Reddaway visited St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian church in Kayseri province.
He was told about history of the church and lit a candle, Dogan agency reported. Ambassador Reddaway said the history of two nations faced many difficulties, and the talks can lead to a solution.
The church was built in 1191, but some experts claim it has more ancient history.
