Syrian Airlines not ruling out operation of Yerevan-Qamishli flight

YEREVAN. – Despite rumors in media, it is still unclear whether Yerevan-Qamishli flight will be operated, Syrian Airlines said.

Manager of Syrian Airlines’ Yerevan office Susanna Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am she has no information whether the August 28 flight will be operated.

She said over 50 people expressed willingness to fly from Yerevan to Qamishli and then to Damascus, but the flight has not been included in booking system.

The previous Damscus- Qamishli-Yerevan flights were operated on April 16 and July 5. The flights between Armenia and Syria have been suspended since then.
