YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday addressed a message of condolence to President of Philippines Beningo Aquino in connection with the ferry disaster and floods which claimed lives and caused considerable damage to the country. 

The President of Armenia extended his deepest condolences and support to President Aquino, and wished courage and valor of the spirit to the friendly nation.

The floods caused by torrential rain claimed lives of eight people. According to official data, torrential rain forced nearly 200,000 others from flooded homes.
