Combat readiness of Karabakh army discussed during Security Council meeting

STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan convoked a meeting of the NKR Security Council on Monday.

Issues related to the combat readiness of the Defense Army, organization of combat duty in the armed forces and preparations of celebrations dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the Nagorno- Karabakh Republic were discussed during the meeting.

In his speech President Sahakyan noted that keeping high the level of the armed forces’ combat readiness has been and continues to be a key task of the Defense Army.

Touching upon the second point of the agenda the President instructed the governmental committee organizing and coordinating the celebrations dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of NKR to undertake all the necessary measures for ensuring appropriate implementation of the events.
