STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Monday was on hand at the festive events devoted to the 22nd anniversary of the declaration of the Artsakh Republic.

The President visited the Stepanakert Memorial and laid flowers to the monuments of those soldiers that fell for the independence and freedom of Artsakh, and First Speaker Artur Mkrtchyan of the NKR National Assembly (NA), informs the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR NA Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, PM Ara Harutyunyan, several other officials from Armenia and NKR, representatives of the Armenian diaspora, and guests from abroad also attended these events.
