A cableway will be built in Armenia’s Sevan Peninsula.

In 2009, Akhtamar company launched an investment program to create tourism infrastructures, including for alpine skiing, in the area of the peninsula. 

To this end, equipment was imported under the Temporary Import customs procedure.

But the time period for this procedure has expired, and therefore the company petitioned to the Government with a request to extend this customs procedure for three more years.

The aforesaid matter is put on the agenda of Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
