YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian and Armenia’s Ambassador to the Holy See of The Vatican Mikayel Minasyan on Friday met with Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, Secretary for Relations with States in the Roman Curia.

Nalbandian, who is on an official visit to Rome, noted that close relations are established and an effective collaboration is formed between Armenia the Holy See.
In turn Archbishop Mamberti underscored the opening of Armenia’s Embassy in The Vatican, and informed that the Holy See is examining the matter of founding a diplomatic representation in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.
The interlocutors expressed confidence that the opening of Armenia’s Embassy in The Vatican will give new impetus to the further expansion of bilateral interaction.
