YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Seismic Protection Service released information on Friday at 10:29pm. 

According to the information, a magnitude-2.4 earthquake occurred in Armenia, 6 kilometers southeast of Amasia city.

The tremor measured magnitude 3 at the epicenter area. 

The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 10 kilometers beneath the surface.

The underground shaking was felt in Jradzor village, with magnitude 2-3.
