YEREVAN. – United Kingdom Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan James Aves confessed to Haykakan Zhamanak daily that no one can visualize the future agenda of the Armenia-European Union (EU) cooperation, the daily reports.
‘“I will be very honest and say that at this point no one can visualize and comprehend as to what the next steps will be.
‘“We know that intensive discussions are held in Brussels; and my colleagues in London and in other European cities are holding discussion on this matter.
‘“And, as I understand it, the Armenian government circles likewise are discussing as to how to move our relations forward,’ the ambassador said,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
To note, following the talks that were held on September 3 in Moscow between Armenian and Russian Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin, Sargsyan had announced that Armenia plans to join the Customs Union and subsequently engage in the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
