YEREVAN. – The process of providing housing for Armenia’s military servicemen is still in progress, informs the MOD press service.  

The next official opening of a building and the ceremony of presenting apartment keys were held Wednesday in border village of Khachik in Vayots Dzor Region.    

This time the families of nine servicemen received new apartments. 

Congratulating the servicemen and their family members on this occasion, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan handed them the keys to their new apartments and the respective certificates. 

Ohanyan noted that the improvement of the living conditions of Armenia’s military servicemen is at the focus of the country’s leadership, and everything is done to make sure the servicemen conscientiously perform their official duties.  

Following the official opening, the minister of defense toured the apartments and noted that the apartment conditions fully meet the standards of modern construction.
