Officers of the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan neutralized an 8-member terrorist group that planned terrorist acts in Baku.
1news.az reported that last November the group planned to smuggle ammunition, arms and explosives from Georgia to Azerbaijan.
On January 6, 2010, the head of the group, Namazov Agil, who was supposedly outside Azerbaijan, smuggled the ammunition and explosives by means of his partner in crime in the village of Gyulyuzambine, Balaken region, Azerbaijan.
The investigation showed that the smuggled ammunition and explosives were hidden on the roof of a kindergarten and near a school building. This fact proves the group planned terrorist acts, including the killing of children.
