The potential for cooperation between Japan and Armenia is not implemented to the utmost, Japanese Ambassador Chikahito Harada told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
As per Harada, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Japan last year was another step to strengthen bilateral relations. Documents on the development of relations were signed during that visit, the ambassador recalled.
“I believe all of these agreements will be implemented. As an ambassador, I will do my best so that the political relations between the two countries reach a higher level,” the diplomat stressed.
But, in terms of tourism, the ambassador noted that in Japan they know very little about Armenia. In Chikahito Harada’s view, to develop tourism relations between both countries, the Armenian side should invite the Japanese tourism organizations and show Armenia.
