On the night of April 2 and during the day, Azerbaijani troops violated the cease-fire on the contact line between the Azerbaijani and Nagorno-Karabakh armed forces.
The NKR Defense Ministry reported that the Azerbaijani side opened fire at Nagorno-Karabakh army’s positions from different types of small arms, including sniper rifles in the directions of Chakhirli and Jraberd.
The NKR troops opened retaliatory fire, the report says.
