According to preliminary data, no victims or injured among Armenian peacekeepers in Afghanistan were reported after clashes with Talibs in Kunduz province, spokesman for RA Defense Minister Seyran Shahsuvaryan told NEWS.am.

He noted that Armenian troops provide security of the Kunduz city airport, whereas clashes took place in Chardara district near German base.

Friday night, six Afghan soldiers were killed after not stopping at the checkpoint. According to Deutsche Welle, three German servicemen were killed and eight others injured during a clash with Taliban militants.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, Armenian contingent exercises peacekeeping mission in Kunduz province since February 14. They joined German military unit with the Regional Command North.
