YEREVAN. – The Wednesday session of the Armenian parliament was interrupted for 20 minutes immediately after it started. At the initiative of the ARF Dashnaktustyun parliamentary faction deputies took a 20-minute break that is envisaged by the regulations.
Parliamentarians had to vote on a bill to postpone for a year the introduction of mandatory accumulative pension system that is proposed by four factions: Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktustyun, the Armenian National Congress and Heritage.
Before the break, head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Galust Sahakyan said that the faction will vote against the bill.
