YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 404.98/$1 at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia on Wednesday. 

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.75 rise from Tuesday. 

The exchange rate for one Euro was AMD 550.21 (+AMD 1.71), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.18 (+AMD 0.02), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 662.79 (-AMD 0.39), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum comprised AMD 249.60, 15,849.09 and 17,512.45, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled $700,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 406.61/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 407/$1.
