YEREVAN. – Armenia is preparing to exempt small greenhouses from the need to be issued respective licenses.

At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting the government sanctioned the program on making relevant amendments in the Law on Licensing.   

Introducing the program, Urban Development Minister Samvel Tadevosyan noted that it is also planned to simplify the construction of several other small buildings, including small two-story cottages and small garages. 

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stressed that the respective decision will enable to increase economic activity in the villages and compensate for the decline in the construction sector of Armenia.
