YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.94/$1 at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia on Friday. 

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.83 rise from Thursday. 

The exchange rate for one Euro was AMD 556.16 (up by AMD 3.89), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.37 (up by AMD 0.09), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 665.63 (up by AMD 1.60), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 254.60, AMD 15,994.49 and AMD 17,845.79, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled $3,450,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 407.56/$1, and the trading session closed the week at AMD 407.5/$1.
