YEREVAN. – The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call, on Sunday at 7:11pm, informing that, due to heavy snowfall on the Sotk-Karvachar motorway, the road had became impassable, and the vehicles traveling on this road had become stuck.

A special off-road vehicle was dispatched to the scene.

The fire and rescue workers removed two KamAZ-model trucks, a GAZ 53-model vehicle, eight Ford Transits, and seven passenger cars from the snow.

But two trucks are still stuck in snow, and the rescue efforts will resume on Monday morning.
