YEREVAN. – Armenian tourists will visit Thailand amid demonstrations and political crisis in the country.
Royal Express travel agency organized a New Year tourist trip from Armenia to Thailand, representatives of the agency told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to information provided by a travel agency, two trips from December 28 to January 9 and from December 30 to January 11 will include around 17 people each.
A representatives of Visa Concord travel agency said they had provided services to a few Armenian tourists wishing to visit Thailand.
Delta Armenia agency also has sent several tourists to Thailand, but they refused to name the exact number.
The Thailand’s opposition has been holding numerous demonstrations for more than a month. They want to bring down regime of Thaksin Shinawatra, former PM and brother of ruling PM Yingluck Shinawatra.
