YEREVAN. – Armenian opposition politician Gurgen Yeghiazaryan looks positively toward the Russian-led Customs Union, but, in his words, this has nothing to do with President Serzh Sargsyan.    

Yeghiazaryan himself stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Wednesday.

He noted that he always said that he is a supporter of and an advocate for the Customs Union. 

“But our authorities are wretched and they have the psychology of a wretched person,” Yeghizaryan said.   

He added that Europe has proved on numerous occasions that it has no democracy.  

“Democracy does not exist. It is for them, but not for us,” Gurgen Yeghiazaryan maintained.
