YEREVAN. – Armenia should not be limited to the negotiation process in the Nagorno-Karabakh (NK) issue. It should work simultaneously in two directions and ensure NK’s international recognition at all possible levels.

Giro Manoyan, Head of the Political Affairs Bureau and the Armenian Cause Office of the Armenian opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party, noted the aforementioned at a press conference on Wednesday.

“I do not think that a great progress can be recorded in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Now, the only change is that the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan had not met for two years, but now they met,” Manoyan stressed.

In his view, even though the expectations in this regard may be exaggerated, there are no specific prerequisites for achieving some substantial results.
