YEREVAN. – Four non-coalition forces of the Armenian parliament will vote against the draft bill on 2014 budget.

During his speech in parliament, MP from ARF Dashnaktsutun Artsvik Minasyan severely criticized the budget, noting the neglects, including practical absence of financing for settlement of the liberated territories around Nagorno-Karabakh as well as social policy.

Head of the Armenian National Congress faction Levon Zurabyan followed his lead.

Especially emotional in their statements were secretaries of Heritage Zaruhi Postanjyan and Prosperous Armenia Naira Zohrabyan. The first said that the government considers people “smelly slaves”, the second sharply criticized chairman of the Central Bank.

Head of Orinats Yerkir faction Heghine Bisharyan spoke about the admissibility of the budget and asked, if possible, to take into account a number of remarks on additional costs. Vice-Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan spoke for the draft budget on behalf of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.

Armenian PM will address the lawmakers during the Thursday session. The vote is scheduled for coming days.
