The Armenian-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission opened its 2nd sitting in Yerevan. The sitting was opened by Commission Co-Chairmen, RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan, and Turkmen Vice-Premier Khydyr Saparalaliyev. The trade turnover between the two friendly states is unsatisfactory, Minister Movsisyan said.
The Turkmen Vice-Premier conveyed the Turkmen President’s greetings to the participants, pointing out that Armenia and Turkmenistan have signed a number of agreements over recent years. The agreements are supposed to facilitate the development of bilateral relations.
An exhibition and sale of Turkmen products is to be opened in Yerevan on April 8. An Armenian-Turkmen business forum will be held as well.
