YEREVAN. – Armenia’s presidency of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation was successful and served as a good example for other states, Bulgarian FM said in Yerevan.

Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin took over presidency of the organization during the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers that is being held in Yerevan.

The Minister noted that Armenia’s example was a challenger for colleagues in good sense of this word. The Bulgarian presidency will focus on transport, youth affairs, sport, fight against organized crime, climate change problems. Simultaneously, Bulgaria will work to increase the role of organization, to promote regional cooperation, to help member states on economy development and to assist international security.

Summing up Armenia’s chairmanship that will continue till December 31, Minister Edward Nalbandian said 70 events were held. Nalbandian assured his counterpart that Bulgaria can count on Armenia’s assistance.
